The average person’s diet is becoming increasingly unhealthy and some people believe that advertising of fast food is a major cause of this problem. How can advertising practices be changed to improve this situation?
It can be argued that regulations 1. (should/introduce) to control the promotion of junk food in order to improve society’s eating habits. Significant factors support this argument as 2. (will/explain).
Firstly, marketing 3. (use) by many fast food organisations in many cases to specifically target children. Youngsters 4. (attract) to fast food restaurants by the advertising which 5. (aim) at them. These types of eateries often project a fun image and offer free gifts which are irresistible to children. A good example of this situation 6. However, the majority of adults are aware of the importance of a balanced diet and it should be the decision of the individual as to what types of food they eat.
