Yes, we have two courses, one for each different module. The General Training is for candidates moving to live in an English speaking country or for candidates aiming to study at secondary school level in an English speaking country. It is also for candidates doing non-academic work experience or training in an English speaking country. The Academic Module is for candidates looking for professional registration (e.g. nurse, dentist, lawyer) in an English speaking country, or for candidates aiming to study at university level in an English speaking country. If you are not sure which course you need, simply contact us.

No - all you need is an internet connection. The site uses flash which is already on 99.9% of computers (if you are unsure if you have flash on your computer you can download it here).

As well as all the lessons on the individual IELTS skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) we also have lessons covering vocabulary, grammar and academic skills. All the lessons in the course have been designed to help students get the most out of their learning and is based on over a decade of working in the English teaching and IELTS field.

You can choose to enrol in either our Standard Plan, which has 6 complete practice tests as well as all the lessons and end of lesson practice material, or the Gold Plan or the Diamond Plan, which both have 12 complete practice tests as well as all other material.

Definitely! Studying online does not mean you are studying alone. Inside the course you have the course message service, where you can ask us a question or talk about concerns you are having. As a member, you can also email us, or you might also want to post your questions on the forum.

If you are a Diamond Plan member, you automatically receive a Speaking Practice test and a Writing practice test. For the Standard and Gold Plans, essay correction and speaking practice tests can be arranged. To order any of these, all you need to do is click 'Additional Services' once you are inside the course.

If you are a Diamond Plan member, you will see links on the course home page when you log in that will tell you how to arrange a speaking test. You will need to provide us with a contact phone number and a time of day that is suitable (between 8am and 8 pm New Zealand time). For the writing test, you need to write your answers to one of our practice tests and email it to us at impact@ieltstestonline.com.

You must arrange a speaking test and send us your writing with the 90 days of your membership. You will not be able to send us your writing after your 90 day membership has expired.
