Q: Do you have preparation courses for General Training IELTS test and the Academic Module IELTS test? Which one do I need?

Yes, we have two courses, one for each different module. The General Training is for candidates moving to live in an English speaking country or for candidates aiming to study at secondary school level in an English speaking country. It is also for candidates doing non-academic work experience or training in an English speaking country. The Academic Module is for candidates looking for professional registration (e.g. nurse, dentist, lawyer) in an English speaking country, or for candidates aiming to study at university level in an English speaking country. We have two different enrolment types - the Gold Plan and the Standard Plan. See the table below for more details:

Q: Do I need to download any other programmes on my computer?

No - all you need is an internet connection. The site uses flash which is already on 99.9% of computers (if you are unsure if you have flash on your computer you can download it here).

Q: What makes your site different?

As well as all the lessons on the individual IELTS skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) we also have lessons covering vocabulary, grammar and academic skills. All the lessons in the course have been designed to help students get the most out of their learning and is based on over a decade of working in the English teaching and IELTS field.

Q: How many practice tests are included in the enrolment?

You can choose to enrol in either our Standard Plan, which has 6 complete practice tests as well as all the lessons and end of lesson practice material, or the Gold Plan, which has 11 complete practice tests as well as all other material.

Q: Is there any support while I am studying with you?

Definitely! Studying online does not mean you are studying alone. Inside the course you have the course message service, where you can ask us a question or talk about concerns you are having. As a member, you can also email us, or you might also want to post your questions on the forum.

Q: What if I want to have my writing marked or have a practice speaking test?

Although this is not included in the course fee, we can mark your essays and have practice speaking tests. To order any of these, all you need to do is click 'Additional Services' once you are inside the course.
