High Impact IELTS is the online IELTS preparation site owned and operated by Impact Learning Services New Zealand. The company is focussed on education, specialising in IELTS training online.

With the launch of the High Impact IELTS online course in 2006, the company has built a reputation on successfully helping students to achieve their goals in IELTS.

Patrick Bourne : Director and Online Tutor

Patrick completed a BA (Hons) in History and Literature in 1994 before qualifying as an English Language (ESOL) teacher. He has taught both Business and General English in Britain, Spain, Finland, Poland, Japan and New Zealand. His examination preparation experience encompasses FCE, TOEIC, TOEFL and IELTS. In 2004, Patrick wrote the first in the High Impact series, aimed at getting students the IELTS result they want. There are now four books in the IELTS High Impact series, all published by Pearson. Patrick is also a Proctor for the new TOEFL iBT exam as well as being accredited in TOEIC

Deborah Kinsella: Director and Online Tutor

Deborah is a holder of a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, a Diploma in Marketing Management, an MSc in Marketing and a Cambridge CELTA. Deborah has taught General and Academic English in England, Poland, Japan and New Zealand. She was a major contributor in the creation of the IELTS High Impact series and is the co-writer of the High Impact IELTS online course. In her former role as Tertiary Programme Manager of the Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Southern Queensland (delivered through a partner institution in Auckland), Deborah also has experience of online and distance learning at tertiary level.
